The program was introduced during the Philippines Industry Outreach Event on 'Strategic Trade Management, Technology Protection and Compliance', which brought together government, industry and international partners to strengthen strategic trade management capability across the Philippines.

Recognised by the STMO, and accredited by the Centre for Trade Excellence, the Executive Programme equips industry professionals with practical competencies in export controls, organisational compliance, risk management, investigations and creating effective organisational culture. Through case studies, practical exercises and applied learning, participants will develop the knowledge and judgement required to establish and operate effective Internal Compliance Programmes within their organisations and comply with the Philippines' Strategic Trade Management Act.

As strategic trade controls continue to evolve alongside technological advancement and increasingly complex global supply chains, effective implementation depends not only on legislation and licensing frameworks, but also on capable professionals who can translate regulatory requirements into sound operational practice. Building that capability within industry strengthens organisational resilience, ensures national security, safeguards sensitive technologies and reinforces responsible trade.
